Reaching New Heights
I admit it: I like hills! And we do a lot of hill training.

Two weeks ago, it all paid off!
San Francisco Nike runners flew over the hills. It was so amazing and so fun.
Temecula, on the other hand, might
not have seemed so fun. The hills were huge. Brutal. Constant.
But what did you all do? You
CONQUERED. As I hear the stories, there are some common themes:
1. You all were there to support each other.
It is our greatest strength as a group and one of the (many) reasons that I love you all so much.
actually had fun. Okay, not every minute. But you did.
3. You felt amazing about accomplishing such a tough
challenge. Running (hills) with Val this morning, my heart was filled with joy listening to her talk about how she felt
about accomplishing this feat. You all need to know how amazing you are.
Sure, we enjoy some nice flat routes
some weeks. But soon (and often), we'll be back to the hills.
Because we can.

train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first
started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.
